Mission Statement

The Office of Research supports the research enterprise of the University of California by facilitating, catalyzing, coordinating, and convening within UCOP and the campuses. Its two primary functions are coordination and creation of research policy (including compliance and legislative issues) and coordination and oversight of multicampus research programs, initiatives and facilities.
