Implementing PRG Recommendations

In its final report, the PRG recommended that certain identified programs work to increase systemwide research engagement, collaboration, and participation wherever possible, advantageous, and appropriate.  This recommendation, along with the PRG's other recommendations, has been evaluated as one of several key factors used to determine UC's research investments.  The programs identified by the PRG have been asked to develop a strategic plan that would satisfy this recommendation and include both measurable goals and a timeline for implementation that can be communicated to the Academic Senate and campus leadership.  The ongoing implementation of the PRG’s recommendations will evolve over time and in tandem with future reviews of the systemwide research portfolio will provide multiple opportunities for each program to communicate its continued value to UC.
