SUBJECT: Appendix D to the 1967 Edition of the Contract and Grant Manual (Green Binder)
The purpose of this Memo is to preserve Appendix D to the 1967 Edition of the Contract and Grant Manual (Green Binder) until the document it contains can be updated. The 1967 Manual has now been entirely superseded by the 1983 Edition (see accompanying Circular No. 14).
Appendix D is titled "Patent Program - University of California." This document has not been updated even though a revision, we understand, is forthcoming. Sections II (University Policy Regarding Patents) and III (Patent Agreement) have already been superseded; the current versions of these documents are found in Chapter 11., Section 11-999, of the 1983 Edition of the Contract and Grant Manual.
