All other terms and conditions of this agreement remain the same.

Dear Ms. DeMattos:

PG&E and The Regents of the University of California ("University") hereby agree to extend the term of the subject agreement from June 30, 1995 to June 30, 2000 or to the last expiration date of any RESEARCH PROJECT CONTRACT entered into during the effective term of the subject agreement, whichever is later. All other terms and conditions of the subject agreement shall remain the same. If you agree with the foregoing, please have an authorized official of the University countersign both copies of this letter and return one copy to Mr. Clifford J. DeCuir, Pacific Gas and Electric Company, 123 Mission Street, Mail Code HSA, P.O. 770000, San Francisco, CA 94177.
