Subject: Disclosure of Financial Interest Related to Research
This memo incorporates in the Contract and Grant Information System a letter previously issued to campuses.
The enclosed letter issues the University of California policy on disclosure of financial interest and management of conflicts of interest related to sponsored projects, revised October 15, 1997. The policy applies to NSF and PHS sponsored research projects and may apply to certain University-managed programs with prior approval of the Vice Provost for Research.
