Strategic Sourcing
Strategic Sourcing is responsible for the planned negotiation and management of University-wide agreements, and the coordination of strategic sourcing efforts at the various campuses, hospitals and Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory.
IT Strategic Sourcing
IT Strategic Sourcing negotiates and manages systemwide and multicampus contractual agreements for software, networking equipment, hardware and services for use by IT and administrative staff, faculty, and students.
The Universitywide Advisory Group on Technical Acquisition Support (TAS), composed of representatives from each campus and the national lab, advises IT Strategic Sourcing on current systemwide agreements and recommends products for future agreements.
Campus and Medical Center end users should first contact their local TAS Representative for information on purchase and usage of any software or hardware needs.
