Procurement On Stage

In April, UC Procurement Services unveiled a new webinar series: “UC Procurement On Stage.” These Procurement and Supply Chain-focused webinars feature informative presentations made by UC Procurement staff. The intention is to provide an opportunity for staff to gain expertise from fellow colleagues and understand UC’s presence in the wider community.

“UC Procurement On Stage” webinars are scheduled for an hour during lunch (noon – 1pm) on periodic Fridays through Zoom, and are optional for any UC Procurement staff member who wants to participate. So far, we have held two webinars:  “Investing in Yourself and Your Career” by Darin Matthews, UCSC and “Is Good Enough, Good Enough?” (identifying effective ways to manage enhancements made by Software as a Service providers) by Jenn Glassman, UCSD and Kara Finch, University of Colorado. The next webinar will be held on June 23^rd, Opportunities in Shipping presented by Scottie Profitt, Nikki Giaquinta and Jeremy Meadows, UCSD.
