The Program Management Office provides a range of consulting services that include any or all of the following:

Project management

Plan and manage all aspects of a project, including scope, budget, resources and timeline; identify business drivers.

Project consultation and/or coordination

Provide support services to a project manager or program office. Duties may include:

  • Problem definition
  • Template development
  • Status reporting
  • Change control coordination
  • Facilitation
  • Note-taking

Business analysis

Work with stakeholders to identify and analyze problems and solutions. Tasks could include:

  • Business case development
  • Requirements elicitation, documentation and traceability
  • Test planning and execution
  • Functional design
  • Business process mapping and/or improvement

Organizational analysis and change management

Assist OP departments with planning and implementing organizational change. This could include:

  • Organizational resources
  • Process mapping
  • Development and implementation of change management strategies
  • Communications planning and delivery
  • Coordination of appropriate coaching and/or training

Other support

Provide subject matter expertise to a team or project, which could include:

  • Meeting/workshop facilitation
  • Project management training
