Subject: July 2006 IAP Assessment Rates


Service Request 81581 requires that the Incentive Award Program (IAP) Table and the Assessment 
Rate Table (ART) be updated to provide IAP assessment changes for selected groups to begin the 
new fiscal year as well as a TX unit change to be effective on 10/01/2006.
 
Per the service request, the Assessment Rate Table updates will change PSS and MSP rates effective 
on 7/1/2006.

Additionally, Incentive Award Table updates will change Personnel Program 1 CXC, FFC, RXC and SXC 
Assessment Rate Codes to "None" effective on 7/1/2006. For the Personnel Program 1 TXC group, the 
Assessment Rate Code of "None" will be effective on 10/1/2006.

Therefore, at the request of UCOP H/R Benefits, these CTL update transactions are made available 
via FTP. All campuses should obtain the transactions contained as:

            PAYDIST.CTL2006.CARDLIB (IAPJUL1)   
            and
            PAYDIST.CTL2006.CARDLIB (ARTJUL1)   

These are the suggested transactions but campuses should consult with the campus HR/Compensation 
offices for the determination of the appropriate campus assessment rate values for local units 
(e.g., Skilled Crafts).

The supplied update transactions must be processed via PPP004 prior to the July Expense Distribution 
process run in early August.
 
As always, we suggest making a backup of the updated Control tables either through unload or image 
copy after the successful update of the production CTL tables.
