The description is BONUS PAY - HIRE/REFER. The attributes of this DOS code "BON" have been entered on the attached DOS Table; however, key attributes follow: ---This payment is not considered covered compensation for retirement purposes. ---This payment is taxed at the Bonus rate of 9.3% for California State Taxes. ---This payment should have "BR" as the assigned CPS (FCP) code. Therefore, at the request of the Payroll Coordinator's Office, the appropriate transactions are made available via FTP. All campuses should obtain the transactions at: PAYDIST.CTL2006.CARDLIB(DOSBON) The supplied update transactions must be processed via PPP004. Be sure to change "???" in the transactions to the appropriate sequence number for your location. As always, we suggest making a backup of the updated control tables either through an unload or an image copy after updating your production control tables.
