Record Numbers Apply for Fall 2001 Admission to University of California
UC received a record of nearly 92,000 applications for undergraduate admission for fall 2001. Freshman applicants increased 7.3 percent over fall 2000 while transfer applicants jumped 6.5 percent compared to last year.
