Record Number of Freshman Admitted For Fall 2001
The UC campuses admitted more California freshmen to the University
for fall 2001 than ever before. The overall rate of admission increased
nearly two percent, and the number of California students in all
underrepresented ethnic groups admitted increased 17 percent compared
