UC DavisNew Research Center Connects UC Davis Undergraduate Students With Opportunities
UC Davis formally opened its new Undergraduate Research Center with an open house in October. Senior Program Manager Tammy Hoyer (at left in photo) and Program Coordinator Raynell Hamilton were on hand to greet visitors. The Center’s aim is to help undergraduates identify and connect with research opportunities to complement their studies. Services include counseling students on planning and preparation for undergraduate research, and offering guidance on developing and sustaining working relationships with faculty. Seminars and workshops give undergraduates a chance to explore research topics, develop their skills and write for publication. |
