The Eligibility Index

The Eligibility Index Worksheet printed on page 4 of the September issue gave incorrect categories for the SAT test. Those categories should be Critical Reading, Math and Writing.

The Eligibility Calculator with correct SAT categories may be found online.

Correction for Paper Application

On page 10 of the printed transfer application instructions, UC Berkeley’s entry under Campus Restrictions on Applicants was incorrect. It should read:

UC Berkeley rarely accepts transfer applicants with fewer than 60 semester units. Most programs generally do not accept transfer students with more than 80 semester units. Only the Colleges of Chemistry and Engineering consider second baccalaureate applicants. Only the College of Chemistry considers limited status applications.

The information in the online application is correct. The printed document has been corrected and can be downloaded from the UC admissions website.
