More Than 120 Undergraduate Research Projects Presented

In May, UCSB undergraduate researchers presented the results of more than 120 projects at the campus's 18th annual Undergraduate Research Colloquium. The event, UCSB's largest research colloquium yet, included investigations of subjects such as brain development, information disclosure on the Internet and natural resource depletion.

UCSB provides more than $200,000 each year to support undergraduate research projects. An estimated one in four students at UCSB is involved in an organized research program.
