SAT Offers Makeups for Tests Missed Due to Fire

Freshman applicants are required to take the SAT I: Reasoning Test or ACT, plus three SAT II: Subject Tests by the December 2003 test administration for fall 2004 admissions consideration to UC.

Students who were scheduled for the November 1 SAT exam at a center that was closed because of the Southern California wildfires can call SAT Customer Service at (609) 771-7600 to reschedule. They should identify themselves as having been registered to take the SAT at one of the test centers that closed, specify the date they were scheduled to take the exam and indicate that they want to change to a future test date.
The University highly encourages students to complete the SAT I makeups by December or to take the December ACT if necessary.

Students affected by the test center closings and unable to reschedule a makeup test date by December should arrange to take the SAT in January and send a letter to the UC Application Processing Service with the specific reason why the required tests could not be taken by the December administration. The address is University of California, Undergraduate Application Processing Service, P.O. Box 4010, Concord, CA 94524-4010.
