UCLARecreation Program Offers Access to AllSports-minded men and women with disabilities can enjoy the benefits of exercise and the outdoors through UCLA's Adaptive Recreation Program, which serves all members of the campus community, including those in wheelchairs or with sight, speech or hearing impairments. The program, which started in 2007, offers swimming, biking, sailing and kayaking, and has plans to add activities like wheelchair surfing, tennis, basketball and rugby. In addition to offering adaptive recreation, the program provides opportunities for students and community members to volunteer in the development and delivery of programs. :: For more information, visit UCLA Recreation website.
