Fall Counselor Conference Materials Available

More than 5,000 participants are expected to attend the University of California's Counselor Conferences, being held this month at UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Merced, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara and UC Santa Cruz. The high school program received 4,001 registrations, while 1,070 educators registered for the community college track. In response to increased demand, a sixth conference site was added this year, and UC is looking into ways to accommodate more attendees in 2008.

In addition to offering valuable information in workshops and interaction with UC admissions experts, the conferences provide participants with binders containing valuable information, including UC policies for evaluating freshman and community college applicants, UC campus profiles and tips for helping students write their personal statements.

Extra binders with conference materials are now available by mail
