UC campuses have a number of events scheduled, some open to the public and some for admitted students. The following events are held on the host campus unless otherwise noted.

Hundreds of events and activities all over campus showcase UC Berkeley's intellectual and cultural diversity, with visits to laboratories and museums usually open only to researchers, student musical and dramatic performances, hands-on exhibits and demonstrations and athletic events. Information programs for newly admitted students cover financial aid, student housing and other issues. Tours of the campus and residence halls run throughout the day. |

Davis |
Decision UC Davis |
Newly admitted students and their parents are invited to Decision UC Davis events, held all day on campus or for a half-day in San Diego and Long Beach for Southern California attendees.Activity tracks are tailored separately to freshmen and to transfer students. Attendees will hear from current students about their undergraduate experiences, have questions answered by academic and admissions advisers, find out about parent resources from a panel of parents, and learn more about UC Davis's programs and opportunities.

PICNIC DAY |
The largest student-run event in the United States, Picnic Day is UC Davis' annual open house, drawing 50,000 visitors, including students, alumni and parents, each year. The 94th annual Picnic Day is an opportunity for prospective students and the community to experience the campus, with more than 150 events and exhibits including a student fashion show, police dog demonstrations and the FutureCar, created by UC Davis's engineering students for a national competition.

Celebrate UCI |
Guests to this open house may take tours of the campus by open-air tram or walking, visit housing facilities and the Anteater Recreation Center, and find out about educational and research opportunities at UCI. More scheduled activiites include the Car show on the Green, an Earth Day celebration, a medieval fair with food booths, three enterainment stages and a children's carnival. Free parking all day. At Celebrate UCI, prospective and newly admitted freshmen and transfer students can participate in Explore UCI (9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.), Transferring to UCI (8:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.), and academic unit information sessions. |

Welcome Days |
Admitted UCLA students will each receive an inviation to one of the campus Welcome Days, where they and their families can explore the campus’s range of academic, cultural and residential opportunities. Participants can meet and talk with faculty and current students, participate in question-and-answer sessions, take tours of the campus and residential community, receive financial aid information and attend programs for family members. The programs are designed for small groups of students and are based on the students'academic interests. |

Tours involve significant walking, so visitors should be sure to wear comfortable shoes. |
