Application Update Site Open; All Transfer Students Must Submit Form

Transfer applicants for fall 2008 must update their applications by going to the Application Update site, which is now open.

On this form, non-freshman applicants must list courses and grades for the term just completed, as well as courses they plan to take prior to their anticipated UC enrollment.

All transfer applicants must fill out this form, even if they do not have any in-progress or planned courses and even if their record of course grades was complete in the original application. The form should take 15 minutes or less to complete.

Most UC campuses have a Feb. 15 priority deadline for these updates. The deadline for UC Davis and UCLA was Jan. 31.

Applicants to UC Berkeley engineering majors must have submitted updates by Feb. 2; all other UC Berkeley majors have until Feb. 15. UC Berkeley also requires its transfer applicants to file additional Berkeley-specific forms.

To log on to the website and create a new password, applicants need their seven-digit application ID number. The application ID number is on the Undergraduate Application Acknowledgment or application receipt.

Applicants who have lost their application ID numbers or did not file online may call the Application Processing Center at (800) 523-2048. Prospective students who cannot submit the electronic form can download a paper version at the Application Update website.

Students who missed a deadline should contact the campus admissions office to see if the campus will accept late updates.
