UCOP as a Gender-Inclusive Workplace Workshop

The experiences and voices of transgender Americans have gained visibility in recent years. But there is much to be done, including creating inclusive workplaces for all trans and gender-nonconforming people. How can we ensure inclusivity thrives at UCOP?

To provide information and inspire conversation on this topic, all UCOP staff were invited to attend a workshop led by Billy Curtis, director of the Gender Equity Resource Center at UC Berkeley on Tuesday, November 8, 2016.

The workshop covered foundational concepts and critical information about gender identity and trans-related issues so you can integrate gender-inclusive practices into your work and department.

This event was sponsored by President’s Advisory Committee on the Status of Women (PACSW), UCOP Pride, UC Office of Diversity and Engagement, and the UCOP Program Manager of Culture, Engagement and Diversity.
