Outreach Task Force Report
Findings of the University of California Outreach Task Force (OTF), established by the UC Board of Regents in 1995 to identify ways to assure that the University remains accessible to students of diverse backgrounds. The report recommends a four-point strategy -- including development of school-centered partnerships, expansion of academic development programs, implementation of an aggressive informational outreach program and applying university research expertise to problems identified by the task force -- to assist students in overcoming educational disadvantages and attract a diverse student body.
