This is a Notice of Special Meeting of the University of California Board of the Regents' Investment Advisory Committee on Tuesday, May 4, beginning at 1:30 p.m. There are three meeting locations for this teleconference -- the James E. West Alumni Center on the UCLA campus; 2223 Avenida de la Playa, Suite 220, La Jolla, CA; and 1133 Connecticut Ave. NW, Suite 700, Washington, DC.

In open session, the committee will consider action on revisions to UC's rebalancing policy and indemnification of private equity general partners. Discussion items include the quarterly investment performance summary and risk report, UC foundation issues, endowment payouts, portfolio rebalancing activity, the impact of venture capital on UC's private equity returns, a request for proposals for a regents' investment consultant, and an Academic Council's resolution about the inclusion of private equity investments within UC's 403(b) and 457(b) plans. The quarterly investment performance summary and risk report will also be discussed in closed session.
