The University of California is postponing its decision on the selection of a director of the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory pending further review of the candidates and consultation with the Secretary of Energy and Administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration. The action scheduled for consideration by the Board of Regents at a special meeting today (April 26) will be rescheduled at a later date.

Today's media conference call, originally scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Pacific time, has been canceled.
