NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING

This is a Notice of a Special Meeting of The Regents of the University of California's Nominating Committee in closed session via teleconference on Friday, October 12, 2001. The committee will meet to consider committee assignments for newly appointed Regents Lozano and Pattiz and advisory member committee assignments for student regent designate Dexter Ligot-Gordon contingent on approval by the board of the report of the Special Committee to Select a Student Regent. This special meeting notice is issued to comply with the state's pertinent open meeting laws.

EVENT:

Special meeting of The Regents of the University of California's Nominating Committee in closed session. Attendance is expected of committee members only. [Education Code § 92032(e)].
