REGENTS TO CONSIDER RESOLUTION SUPERSEDING SP-1 AND SP-2

Update: The resolution (RE-28), to be introduced by University of California Regent Judith L. Hopkinson at Wednesday's (May 16) Board of Regents' meeting, has been revised since it was posted on the Web last week. Reporters are encouraged to call (510) 987-0056 before 2:00 p.m. Tuesday (May 15) to obtain information about credentials and parking for the meeting, which will take place at the UC San Francisco-Laurel Heights campus.

Because press seating is limited, we may not be able to accommodate all reporters in the regents' meeting room. Loudspeakers will be provided in the pressroom. In the event that regents convene in a smaller room during the course of the meeting, it may also be necessary to establish a press pool. We request your understanding and patience should this step be required. We will make every effort to ensure that you have the access and information you need.

A separate area for post-vote press conference and interviews will be provided.

Directions and maps to the UCSF-Laurel Heights campus are provided on the Web page listed above. Because parking is limited, media are encouraged to take public transit or cabs to the meeting.

Agenda item RE-28 is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. following the public comment period.
