MEETING NOTICE
The University of California Board of Regents will make a formal visit
to the UC Santa Barbara campus on June 13-14. The agenda for Wednesday,
June 13, includes faculty and student research presentations. The agenda
for Thursday, June 14, includes campus walking and driving tours and several
presentations including outreach initiatives and the California NanoSystems
Institutes, one of the four new California Institutes for Science and
Innovation. A period for public comment will be provided at the start
of each day's meeting.

DATES: Wednesday, June 13, and Thursday, June 14, 2001
PLACE: McCune Conference Room, Humanities and Social Sciences
Building, UC Santa Barbara
STARTING TIMES:
Wednesday, June 13 3:00 p.m.
(Public comment, followed by faculty and student research presentations)
Thursday, June 14 8:30 a.m.
(Public comment, followed by campus walking tour, Long Range Development
Plan update and presentations on campus outreach initiatives and programs
at the California NanoSystems Institute and National Science Foundation
Institute for Theoretical Physics)
