1.   Evaluation of Web Conferencing for SOPAG

The meeting was held using Oracle’s web conferencing product as an ongoing effort to test web conferencing software for SOPAG. The meeting was conducted using the software’s simple desktop application sharing mode, with chat, white board and polling. A standard conference call was used for audio.  IP phone and recording is an option but was not tested at the April meeting. Overall the group was satisfied with the Oracle’s web conferencing product.

2.   UC Library Developed Software

The LTAG List of Open Source Software guidelines have been posted to the LTAG website: http://libraries.universityofcalifornia.edu/ltag/ . These guidelines were developed in response to SOPAG’s interest in the development of a ‘registry’ of UC Library developed software available for sharing among the UC Libraries.
