COMMON INTEREST GROUPS (CIGS)
Digital Reference Heather Tunender, UCI is leading a pilot project to offer shared digital reference service. Six campuses (UCI, UCLA, UCM, UCR, UCSB and UCSD) are participating. UC Pilot Digital Reference Project http://lib.ucr.edu/UC_dref/index.php
Information Literacy Three web sites were merged to consolidate information literacy information. “Information Literacy: What the UC Libraries are Doing” http://libraries.universityofcalifornia.edu/infolit/
A workshop proposal was developed and forwarded to SOPAG for endorsement “e-Links to Information Literacy: What works for UC.” At its April 22 meeting SOPAG agreed the proposal had merit, and would put it on the agenda for discussion at the Joint ULs/SOPAG meeting on May 6th. At the time of this writing, the outcome of the discussion from the May 6 th meeting is unknown.
