19 Nov 1999 (bylaws: Fall Assembly)  President appoints Nominating Committee.
5 Apr. 2000 
(at least 65 days before the election)
 Nominating Committee Chair submits slate of nominees with their written consent and biographies, to the Secretary.
14 Apr. 2000 
(at least 55 days before the election)
 Secretary submits slate of nominees to each Division in writing, including a notice of the election date and notice that additional nominations may be submitted by members.
14 Apr. 2000 
(before May 1)
 Divisions appoint Divisional Election Committees.
28 Apr. 2000 
(at least 40 days before the election)
 Secretary receives such additional nominations, accompanied by the written consent and biographies of nominees.
10 May 2000 
(at least 30 days before the election)
 Secretary of the Association sends one sample ballot and biographies of nominees to each Divisional Secretary. The ballot shall state the election date, which is the date by which the ballots must be returned to the Divisional Election Committee chair.
25 May 2000 
(at least 14 days before the election)
 Division sends a ballot and biographies of nominees to eligible voters.
9 June 2000 
(bylaws: during the month of June)
 Election Day (date to be determined by the Secretary in consultation with the Executive Board)
19 June 2000 
(no more than 10 days after the election)
 Secretary of the Association receives election results in writing from the Divisional Secretaries.
1 July 2000 
(no more than 20 days after the election)
 Secretary of the Association notifies the President, the Vice President, the Divisional Chairs, and all nominees of the results of the election. Elected officers take office 1 Sept.1999.
