How are LAUC research grant proposals evaluated?

LAUC members submit proposals to their campuses’ LAUC Research & Professional Development (R&PD) Committee. The statewide R&PD Committee reviews proposals and recommends funding to the UC Office of the President (UCOP). UCOP makes final decisions about funding for grant proposals. The statewide R&PD Committee notifies applicants of funding decisions and grant requirements.   See: “Research Resources for Librarians” for additional information on the definition of “research’ and other possible funding sources.
