Ad Hoc Awards Committee

The LAUC Ad Hoc Awards Committee is charged with reviewing, investigating and making recommendations regarding a LAUC Travel Award or LAUC President's Travel Award to support attendance at LAUC Assemblies. The Committee is further charged with investigating and making recommendations on establishing one or more additional LAUC Awards-e.g., LAUC Member-of-the-Year Award, LAUC Lifetime Achievement Award. Specifically, the Committee is charged with examining various models for these sorts of awards among a variety of organizations and institutions within and outside UC, and with making recommendations on the nature, criteria, and type of award, as well as developing draft procedures for decision-making and presentation for each of these awards.
