Internet-II Services Center
Many of the early Internet-II documents used the term "GigaPOP" for this element of the Internet-II architecture. A discussion of the services and engineering goals for the Internet-II Services Center (I2SC) is presented in the report of the initial Internet-II Archtecture Planning Group.
A campus communications service distribution hub will interface with the I2SC. The specific services brought into the campus will depend on the campus' needs and the services available at the I2SC.
