This is to follow up on our discussion at last week's JOG/CPG meeting
regarding
scheduling a workshop on course management software. As you'll
recall,
we agreed that it would be beneficial to get together individuals who
are
knowledgeable about and interested in course management software.
The
purposes of the meeting/agenda are:
- Sharing of campus experiences/needs for course management
software
- Assessment of existing use of WebCT and BlackBoard and
interest
in the OKI.
- Opportunities for collaboration, joint product licensing,
next
steps
We have selected Monday, February 25, from 9:30 to 3, for this
session.
The location has not yet been identified but will be somewhere in
Oakland.
Please let Sandy Elder (sandy.elder at ucop.edu) know by February 11
who from
your campus will be attending the session. Feel free to send multiple
individuals
if desired, but we would like to limit attendance to not more than 3
from
each campus.
Subsequent to February 11 sandy will let attendees know the specific
meeting
location and, for those traveling by air, the alternative means of
transportation
between the airport and meeting site.
