Description
The Corporate Staffing List System (SLC) is used to create
the corporate staffing list once a year from data submitted by each of the
nine campuses as part of the fiscal closing process. The staffing list contains
payroll and provision data for academic and staff positions from the fiscal
year that is ending, as well as budget data for the approaching year. Salary
and FTE data are included by account, fund, and title code for all state-funded
academic and staff positions. The campus data are consolidated into a Focus
database which users can access in order to run ad hoc reports. Several major
production reports are produced from the staffing list data, including the
personnel listing report, which is published and sent to the campuses and to
the state each year.
SLC data is used (along with data from the Corporate Personnel System, the
Corporate Account Fund Profile, the Title Code System, and the Corporate Budget
System) to produce the preliminary Salary and Wage Supplement. This is a report
which the UCOP Budget Office uses to prepare the final Salary and Wage Supplement
report for the California State Department of Finance.
