Description

The UCOP Contracts and Grants System is a web-based application for entering proposal and award data for UCOP and for the UC-managed national laboratories. The data entered is submitted on a regular basis to the Corporate Contracts and Grants System (CGX), to be consolidated with data submitted by campuses.

Access

Access to the web-based data entry CGO system is provided to authorized staff in the Research Administration Office of the Office of Technology Transfer . The CGO application is accessed through the Corporate Systems Gateway (CSG).

Technical Information

The UCOP Contracts and Grants System is written in java using the Sybase database management system running on a UNIX platform. Reports are written using the WebFocus language.
