The TechDesk is launching a new monthly e-mail called Tech Topics. It will go beyond the Outlook Tip of the Month to cover a range of technology issues you encounter at work. Today, I’d like to reintroduce you to the TechDesk, the desktop support unit for all UCOP Oakland-based departments.

When you have a computer problem or question, let us know via the Problem Reporting Form—bookmark it now! You also can contact us by e-mail at TechDesk@ucop.edu, by phone at 987-0457 (option 2), or you can stop by cubicle 7116 in Franklin.
Hours
Our regular hours are 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. See the Web for emergency hours.
IT Service Forms
We’ve created a lot of online forms to help you use our services. They are posted on the UCOP IT Service Forms page, which you get to from the TechDesk Web site. You can establish or cancel an e-mail account, create a listserv, update UCOP directory entries, and much more.
