Line 1414 Electrical Engineering increased due to recoding/reorganization within the College of Engineering.

Line 1416 Other Engineering decreased due to the conclusion of several awards from the Federal Demonstration Project in 1998 in the College of Engineering as well as the transfer of some expenditures to 1414 Electrical Engineering as a result of the reorganization within the College of Engineering.

Line 1452 Biological Sciences Federal expenditures decreased due to the transfer of funding for a biochemistry award (along with the professor) to the University of California at Irvine.
