Line 1413 Civil Engineering decreased due to the conclusion of awards in 1999 under the Institute of Transportation Studies.

Line 1423 Physics federal funding decreased due to the conclusion of a grant from the Department of Energy for research in Neutrino Physics, cosmic rays and elementary particles.

Line 1441 Math increased due to new funding from the Air Force.

Line 1480 Other Sciences decreased due to the deletion of humanities expenditures which should not have been included in the survey. Additionally, the Principal Investigator for a federal grant under Other Sciences is no longer with the institution, and the award funding went with her.
