The topic will be on the agenda for the next ITLC meeting on May 24 and 25, with the likelihood that UCTrust will be created formally at that time. In preparation for this, I am scheduling a system-wide meeting prior to May 24 for us to review the policy and technology issues surrounding UCTrust. We will also discuss implementation. Here's a proposed agenda: 1. Review of UCTrust: University of California Identity Management Federation - Service Description and Polices (attached - a small revision of the document distributed earlier this year). This will be a chance for you to understand the implications of joining UCTrust, as well as to provide input as the document is finalized. (1.5 hours) 2. Implementation experiences by the Federated Authentication Project team. Short presentations by the implementers of Shibboleth origins at UCSD, UCI, and UCLA, as well as the UCFY target at UCOP. (1 hour) 3. Lunch (0.5 hour) 4. Campus implementation issues. What do you see as the significant implementation issues? Are there opportunities for collaboration on common parts of solutions? What applications might benefit from UCTrust participation? (1.5 hours) 5. Next steps (0.5 hour) The meeting will be at UCOP in Oakland, probably between 10:00a and 3:00p. If you are interested in attending (and care about when the meeting will be scheduled), please send dates that do not work for you during the weeks of April 25-29, May 9-13, and May 16-20 to Sandy Elder before Friday, 4/15.
