People, Another conference call tomorrow: Date and Time: 8/11/2004, 9a-10a Call-in Number: 866-740-1260 Access Code: 9870500 I still think we're close to having something that functions, at least with test data, but we need to push some issues through: 1. Attribute Naming. I've put a draft urn:mace:universityofcalifornia.edu namespace registry together at http://www.ucop.edu/irc/itlc/ucfedauth/URNs, based on Gabe's suggestions and following the general layout of Albert's urn:mace:ucla.edu namespace (http://www.ais.ucla.edu/tig/ucla-urn/registry.htm). I'm not wed to any of it, but it'll give us something to talk about. 2. Test Records. Bruce and Jerry are working on this. 3. Minimum Standards. This is an ongoing issue, but I had occasion to draft a statement of responsibilities for identity managers, service providers, and community members. I've attached the latest revision for discussion. 4. Logout URL. This is left over from our last call. The issue is the feasibility of passing the logout URL as a Shib attribute, as well as a parameter on the UCFY-invoking URL. 5. Federation Naming. Anyone have any good ideas for a name for our UC federation? You'll notice that I used UCTrust in the draft URN namespace description, but I have a number of others on my white board after consulting a few people in the office here: UCShare, UCFed, InUC, UC:Share, UC:InfoShare, UC:TechShare, UC:ITShare, UCAccess, UCExchange, UCProof, UCProve, UCID, UCCoop, UCITCoop, UCTrust.
