The UCOP IT Planning Group has replaced the IT Advisory Group, which was formed in September 2004 to create a nontechnical forum for departmental managers to discuss and guide IT related issues at UCOP, including network security, protection of sensitive data, and deploying Microsoft Outlook to replace the e-mail and calendar systems.
