ANSI has
delegated the operations of the 2.16.840.1.113916
arc of OIDs to IR&C at the University of California's Office of the
President (UCOP) for the purpose of identifying UC LDAP
attributes. Because of this assignment, the urn:oid:2:16:840:1:113916
namespace has also been assigned to identify the corresponding UC
SAML-2
attributes.
This registry is based on earlier assignments of OIDs within
UC. It will now serve as the registry for both OIDs and the urn:oid:2.16.840.1.113916
namespace. Note that, while this earlier assignment of OIDs
created arcs for each campus, campuses generally have acquired their
own arcs, so the campus-related information here should not be
considered to be authoritative.
