Advisory Committee on Technical Acquisition Support
The IT Strategic Sourcing
group manages
IT Strategic Sourcing,
negotiating and managing over 50 Universitywide agreements for enterprise
and desktop software and hardware. The ten UC campuses, UCOP, five medical
centers, and UC managed national labs participate in the program. The
UC IT Leadership Council provides
direction for setting priorities. The Universitywide Advisory Committee
on Technical Acquisition Support (TAS), which is composed of representatives
from all campuses, handles coordination of most desktop software agreements.
