Records Management Services

Records Management Services (RMS) at UCOP provides general records management consultation to UCOP departments, including advice about good practices for records retention and disposition, records scanning and storage, and document preservation. The unit is also responsible for maintaining the UCOP Central Records Collection, which preserves corporate and historically important documents, and conducts searches of the collection upon request. The UCOP records manager maintains the UC Records Retention Schedule in coordination with campus records management coordinators.
