Service Description
ITS provides vendor management support to build strong relationships with vendors, achieve quality service at the lowest price and risk, and help resolve any issues that arise.

At present, vendor management is focused on working with UC Path service providers and CENIC, which is UC’s primary wide area network service provider.

Vendor management includes the following services:

  • Acquisition: Partnering with Procurement to acquire vendors that meet UC’s business and technical requirements and comply with UC’s contractual terms
  • Engagement: Using a variety of methods to improve UC’s engagement with vendors, including governance, clarification of roles, standardized processes, and other tools
  • Performance monitoring: Monitoring and reporting – using key vendor metrics, scorecards, risk reviews, and customer satisfaction surveys – to better align UC client expectations with results
  • Contract management: Communicating contractual requirements internally and externally and managing the contract life cycle, including compliance, modifications, renewals, disputes, and terminations
