ReadyTalk™ Audio, Video and Web ConferencingService Description and Option
ReadyTalk is a conference call service requiring no reservations. ReadyTalk can support up to 96 participants per call. Each user receives a personal conferencing account that can be utilized at any time. Conference participants dial a toll free number and enter an access code, and then are placed on music hold until the chairperson joins the conference.

How to Request Support
Support is available M – F, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Request support through the IT Service Hub or by contacting the IT Service Desk. If you have questions regarding billing or how ReadyTalk can better assist you with conference calls, contact Kim Morse, ReadyTalk account manager, at (800) 843-9166 x1624.
All UCOP personnel may request a ReadyTalk account.
Example: 24/7, except during planned outages
- Conference Calls: Departments pay $0.023 per port, per minute.
- Recorded Conference Calls: To record calls, departments pay for an additional port. Departments then pay $0.20 per each minute of the recorded call for ReadyTalk to host the recording. This amount is billed monthly for up to six months at which point the archived recording is deleted or, prior to six months, billed monthly until the customer downloads or deletes the recording.
