Listserv Email List
Service Description
Email lists enable the simultaneous dissemination of a single message to
a group of people. An email list may be used as a discussion forum, allowing
members to easily exchange ideas. The use of an email list also saves each
member from having to create and maintain a separate list for the group.
How to Order
Use the IT
Service Hub to request an email list.
How to Request Support
Support is available M – F, 6:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Request
support through the IT Service
Hub or by contacting the IT Service Desk.
Eligibility
All UCOP
staff, contractors, and other associated personnel with UCOP e-mail accounts
may request setup of email lists.

24/7, except
during planned outages
Cost
Departments
pay a monthly technology infrastructure fee (TIF) per individual to cover a standard
computing bundle, office phone, voicemail, and email access, including access
to email lists.

Messages distributed via mailing lists must conform
to the business purpose for which the list was established and are governed by
the same policies that apply to normal e-mail messages. Individuals granted
