Welcome to the Faculty/Staff Partnership Website. This website has been developed to share the work of the Task Force on Faculty/Staff Partnership, formed jointly in January 1999 by the Council of University of California Staff Assemblies (CUCSA) and the Academic Council of the systemwide Academic Senate. The Task Force report offers ideas for enhanced faculty/staff partnership; the full text of the report can be downloaded from this website.

The purpose of the Faculty/Staff Partnership website is to build awareness of the importance of faculty/staff partnership efforts and to communicate best practices throughout the University that further enhance a sense of community. This website offers a single source from which Universitywide partnership efforts can be made more visible, and provides links to campus-based resources that were researched by the Task Force in support of faculty/staff partnership. The Task Force also created a Partnership Statement that can be viewed on this website and has been endorsed by the President, the Academic Council and CUCSA. We invite you to review the Faculty/Staff Partnership Task Force findings and ideas for creating and sustaining a positive work environment based upon collaboration, cooperation, and professionalism.
