Operational Compliance and Calculations

The Operational Compliance and Calculations unit is responsible for:

• Calculation and audit of all University of California Retirement Plan (UCRP) benefit calculations, ensuring calculations comply with Plan provisions and governmental regulations
• Processing of buyback and reciprocity requests
• Specification, development, and implementation of Retirement Plan changes
• Ad hoc projects
• Ongoing documentation of Plan operating policy and procedures
• Validation of data in the University of California Retirement System (UCRS) Membership and Annuitant systems
• Processing of UCRP Minimum Required Distributions
• Settlement agreements involving UCRP, and
• Administration of the Senior Management Supplemental Benefit Program
